Audi A7 Sportback 2011

Audi A7 Sportback 2011

Similar to the A5 Sportback, which is not available in the U.S., the Audi A7 Sportback’s roofline and sleek D-pillars help hide the large rear hatchback Although the A7 Sportback shares many design elements with current Audi models such as the large grill and the LED daytime running lights, it is probably one of the most unique-looking Audi models aside from the Audi R8 supercar. With an aggressive look similar to the A5, the exterior design will put the new A7 Sportback right about against other four-door luxury coupes on the market like the Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class and the all-new Jaguar XF. The key design element of the A7 Sportback is the sleek roofline which will likely reduce interior space to position the new model between the A8 and the mid-size Audi A6.

The new Audi A7 Sportback is based off the 2009 Audi Sportback Concept that made its debut last year at the 2009 North American International Auto Show in Detroit. Volkswagen AG already offers two popular four-door coupes here in the U.S., the Volkswagen CC and the Porsche Panamera, and the A7 Sportback will give Audi its first such model in this market and help reach new buyers. Fitting into the latter category, Audi recently unveiled the all-new 2011 Audi A7 Sportback which blends the luxurious size of the new Audi A8 with a bolder, sportier exterior design. In order to keep up with the competition, Audi has been expanding its model lineup to compete in the popular crossover market and the relatively new, but growing, four-door coupe market.

2011 Toyota Sienna

2011 Toyota Sienna

The flanks are sculpted The front end is large and angular, with a low air dam that would look good on a sport sedan. The exterior lines are bold and sweeping. Both outside and inside, the 2011 Sienna is remarkably attractive for van. The rear hatch opening is enormous, as is the deep cargo space behind the third row of seats.

The third row can be reached by walking between the two second row seats, or by sliding them all the way forward. The front doors are wide and the side doors automatically slide back with a gentle pull on the handle or the touch of a button. Getting in and out of the Sienna was a breeze. It also came with a DVD player for rear seat passengers, although we didn’t use it. Our test model was also equipped with a number of luxury options that made the drive even more relaxing, including plush leather seats and a sumptuous stereo system with satellite radio.

Room is tight in the third row, of course, but still sufficient for three small children. They also have extendable foot rests, like a La-Z-Boy lounger. So do the second row passengers, whose seats slide back and forth on extended rails. Drivers and front seat passengers have plenty of shoulder, head and leg room. That translates into a lot of interior space that Toyota uses well.

First introduced in 1998, it has grown over the years to become one of the largest vans on the road today. For starters, the Sienna isn’t very mini anymore.

Toyota Camry Hybrid Review

Toyota Camry Hybrid Review

You can find out more information about Hybrid Cars at www.prohybrid.com As far as I'm concerned, nothing available right now can match the quietness, comfort, and fuel economy of the Toyota Camry hybrid. With the 2008 model's reduced retail price, and the high gas prices facing our nation, the Toyota Camry Hybrid is a breath of fresh air. One has to be really paying attention to the engine to determine which source is powering the car. This car offers a smooth, seamless ride.

This is not the case with the Toyota Camry Hybrid. Likewise, one can also tell when the gas engine has kicked back on, and the car is needing more power than the battery can provide. While driving the Toyota Prius, the driver can tell when the gas engine has shut off and the car's power is coming from the battery. The electric qualities of the Toyota Camry hybrid are subtle compared to its counter parts. The Camry hybrid establishes a perfect balance of fuel economy, 'green' living, and a functional family sedan.

The Camry hybrid lacks the aspects of the Prius that some buyers might find off-putting, such as the compact size. The Toyota Camry Hybrid is a more spacious, luxurious, comfortable version of Toyota's popular Prius hybrid, with equally impressive fuel economy. It is said that as a hybrid the Toyota Camry hybrid does not have the same performance capabilities as the conventional sedan, but I would venture to say that as a moderate recreational driver, this car has all the performance capabilities one would need.

Toyota RAV4 Limited

Carmakers are under pressure from regulators to develop models that "Toyota and Tesla engineering teams have made a lot of progress in a short" time, JB Straubel, Tesla's chief technology officer, said Saturday by e-mail. The target for a model developed with Tesla would be for a car that costs about $40,000 with 150 miles of driving range per charge, the person familiar with the plans said. Toyota bought its stake in Tesla on July 2, he said.

Keisuke Kirimoto, a Tokyo-based spokesman for Toyota, said he couldn't confirm the models. He declined to discuss project details. "We anticipate range and acceleration exceeding that of other announced electric vehicles of this class," Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, said Monday in an e-mail. Toyota, the world's largest seller of hybrid autos, bought a $50-million stake in Palo Alto, Calif.-based Tesla this month. Toyota's President Akio Toyoda said last week the partnership with Tesla is the first of several the company wants to pursue in advanced auto technologies.

While Toyota also aims to test an electric Corolla compact car, the RAV4 and RX light trucks are better suited to the weight of Tesla's battery pack, said the person, who asked not to be identified because the vehicles haven't been announced yet. Tesla said Saturday that it will deliver two prototypes vehicles to Toyota this month without identifying the models. Toyota and Tesla will develop battery-powered test versions of the Japanese carmaker's RAV4 and Lexus RX in the first stage of a partnership in electric vehicles, a person familiar with the matter said.

Toyota Avalon

Toyota Avalon

Perhaps the owner clinics reveal that Avalon buyers like to be Expressway travel is a quiet, efficient affair, though the brakes have an abrupt light-switch feel and the steering is slow and somewhat lifeless in the middle, so you’re just a bit more active correcting the Avalon’s path as it’s disturbed by crosswinds and pavement changes. That’s all most Avalon drivers care about. That’s 0.3 second slower than our previous Avalon test car, but punch the gas in traffic, and the Avalon moves out.

Otherwise, Toyota’s Arthurian super-Camry remains unchanged down to its six-speed automatic and 268-hp, 3.5-liter V-6, which delivers 60 mph in 6.6 seconds. There are just two versions: the base Avalon and the Avalon Limited, tested here and now coming with standard leather and a sunroof. On the Limited, chrome slivers on the door handles and lower doors add a blaze of old-fashioned brightwork. A revised dash cages the instruments in separate, attractive binnacles, and a large shingle of loss-luster plastic resembling brushed pewter contains the navigation system with its revamped controls. The fenders are new for 2011, raising the rear decklid for better aerodynamics and creating a more windswept face with a new grille at the center.

The languid Avalon, essentially a punched-out Camry with Lexus trappings, may not fascinate the street pilots who devour this magazine, but about 40,000 people are expected to lay down their greenbacks for one this year, and Toyota has a few minor changes to announce. On the way to conquering the universe, Toyota put a pill right down Buick’s stack.

Lamborghini Reventon

Lamborghini Reventon

The car's namesake, owned by the Don Rodriguez family, is best known for killing famed bullfighter Felix Guzman in 1943 Yet in spite of this, and the car's carbon fibre components, the Reventón manages to accelerate to 100 KPH (62 MPH) in the same time as the Murciélago LP640 (3.4 seconds) The Reventón has been named after a fighting bull in line with the Lamborghini tradition. Initial reports suggest the 6.5 litre V12 may receive a power boost of approximately 15 kilowatts (20 horsepower), and this brings the new ouput close to 490 kW (660 horsepower). Most of the mechanics, including the engine, have been taken directly from the Murciélago LP640.

Even the interior looks like an airplane cockpit - (See pictures) Apparently the designers were taken specially to inspect the actual exterior of an F-22 Raptor fighter jet, before coming up with the design. The exterior styling was inspired by the F-22 Raptor. The official press release stated that only 20 would be built, but rumours later surfaced that the total number could be 100. Rumoured to be the most expensive and most powerful in the Lamborghini range to date, this one will leave a slight dent in one's pocket - in the region of about one million euros.

This supercar debuted at the 2007 Frankfurt Auto Show.

To reduce the risk of injuries in accidents, While it takes this exceptional car only 2.5 seconds to go from 0 to 100 km/h, it needs even less time – a mere 2.3 seconds – to come to a standstill from 100 (reference point). Such a super sports car may not seem to be brought to a halt easily, but the Veyron’s ceramic brakes slow it down faster than it can accelerate. Adjusting the back spoiler, reducing ground clearance, opening and closing the lids – it all adds to the perfect balance between propulsion and down force. The Veyron reaches velocities that would literally lift the car off the ground – if it were not for its ingenious aerodynamics, which keeps it firmly on the road even at full speed.

The Electronic Stability Program (ESP) ensures the necessary flexibility and maneuverability at any speed. This means that the seven-gear clutch transmission works with a torque of up to 1,250 Newton meters. It offers a total of 1,001 HP, and its ample power reserves even at high speeds are the fabric of dreams for luxury-class limousines: for a constant speed of 250 km/h, the Veyron only needs 270-280 HP. Boasting a maximum speed of more than 400 km per hour, the Veyron is unmatched in the super sports category.

Most of the components tucked beneath its hood are ingenious innovations that were formerly only deemed possible by visionaries like Ferdinand Piech. With its 16-cylinder four-wheel drive, the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 may well be the most sophisticated production vehicle of all times.

The Mitsubishi Eclipse

The Mitsubishi Eclipse

The ergonomically contoured cabin is well put together, featuring a twin scooped Alfa Romeo style rpm/velocity dials, and supportive seats that provide exceptional driving position. Get behind the wheel and the car feels different from previous models. The wheel arches have more flair, hinting at the improved, higher performance engine that gives 23 mpg city; 30 mpg highway. This is the premise for the restyled 2007 Mitsubishi Eclipse coupe and Spyder.

Don't just pass through the world, be a part of it. Communicate in your own way. Open up. Facing competition from the Acura RSX, Mazda RX-8, and Toyota Scion, the 2007 Eclipse has been extensively reworked to retain its share of the youth market.

Although the 2007 Eclipse has curb appeal - with shapely wheel wells, a lavishly appointed interior and a torque rich engine (263 horsepower in GT and 162 horsepower in the GS), there are a lot of cars in the $19,669 - $25,389 price point. In 1995, the car was redesigned to compete more aggressively with Honda Civic and the Acura Integra. When the Eclipse first debut in 1990, it became an instant hit in the rave young car buyers' demographic, helping Mitsubishi launch additional models including the mid-sized Gallant and the compact Lancer Evolution. After 16 years of turning drivers into fanatics, things are looking up for the fourth incarnation of the Eclipse, but there is still a lot at stake for Mitsubishi. More scoops than an ice-cream cone distinguish the wider wheelbase 2007 Eclipse coupe and convertible Spyder from other cars on the road.
